Student Liaison Northern CA Chapter

Jason Ni is Ph.D. candidate in Transportation Technology and Policy program, University of California, Davis. Originally from Taiwan, he got his BS. degree from the department of Civil Engineering of National Taiwan University. Before coming to US; he served in the Engineering Army in Taiwan for two years.

Jason got his master degrees from the dual-degree program of Transportation Engineering and City Planning at UC Berkeley. During his graduate study at UC Berkeley, Jason was researcher affiliated with UC Transportation Center (UCTC) and Institute of Urban and Regional Development (IURD). He also had intern experiences in Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), Dowling Associates and has done projects for Cambridge Systematics and City of San Leandro.

At UC Berkeley, Jason has served as the President of Berkeley Association of Taiwanese Students and he has been the fundraiser for International House, UC Berkeley in 2002. In the professional field, Jason is member of Institute of Transportation Engineer and International Chinese Transportation Professionals Association.

The NCA Chapter held the celebration of ICTPA 20th Anniversary on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 in Legendary Palace, 708 Franklin St., Oakland, CA 94607.

Mr. Luke Cheng, International President came to join us from Los Angeles. He shared some event photos of our 20th annual meeting in LA and also promoted our next meeting in Nanjing, China.
