We held the ICTPA Chinese New Year gathering on 2/28/2007 in Oakland Chinatown. The evening began with registrations at 6:00 p.m. followed by a sit down dinner at 6:30 p.m.A guest speaker, Mr. Dan Wong, the Chair of the American Planning Association - Transportation Planning Division Airports Committee, joined us. He talked about the American Planning Association's Airports in the Region initiative and discuss where FAA and others both domestically and internationally are headed regarding airport planning in relation to airport compatibility planning with surrounding communities.
