National Board Member

Mr. Chi-Hsin Shao is one of the original founders of the ICTPA National Headquarter and ICTPA Northern California Chapter. He is currently President of CHS Consulting Group. He has a master’s degree in Infrastructure Planning and Engineering from Stanford University and attended Tuck Executive Program at Tuck Business School of Dartmouth College.

Before founding CHS Consulting Group, Mr. Shao served as a senior manager for both public agencies and private consulting firms. The previous positions he held included Vice President of KORVE Engineering Inc. (1992-1998), Principal of Cambridge Systematics (1990-1992), Deputy Commissioner for the Boston Transportation Department (1987-1990) in charge of transportation policy and planning, and Head of the Transportation Planning Section with the San Francisco Planning Department (1983-1987).
